The OECD has revised its global growth forecast for 2025, suggesting the world economy may weather the tariff storm better than initially feared. Chief economist Alvaro Pereira cautions, however, that the full impact of tariffs may still unfold in the months ahead. With businesses and countries having anticipated the measures, the immediate shock has been softened — but risks remain.
