Singh has served in the global role since May 2022. Before that, he was regional president for North America after joining Mars in 2020. The company said the North American business saw major growth under his leadership, driven by digital transformation, innovation, and the use of data.

Before joining Mars, Singh spent six years at L'Oréal in leadership roles across its consumer products and luxury divisions in North America. He also spent more than a decade at Procter & Gamble in international roles.

In a professional profile, Singh said his leadership approach centers on “simplifying complexity, embedding data and AI into decision-making, and building operating models that move with speed, clarity, and learning.” He added, “advantage is not static—it must be continuously built.”

Singh is a member of the Wall Street Journal CEO Council and has been featured in Fortune and Fast Company. He has lived and worked in six countries, including the United States and China, and is fluent in six languages.

After growing up in India, he moved abroad to pursue higher education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Dalhousie University in Canada and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
