Reshma Saujani slams Trump administration’s motherhood messaging

The criticism comes as Saujani prepares to launch a nationwide documentary campaign focused on childcare, paid leave and the economic pressures facing American mothers

Indian American activist Reshma Saujani criticized the Trump administration’s recent messaging on motherhood, accusing it of promoting misinformation and ideological narratives instead of expanding direct support for mothers and families.

In a commentary published May 12 around Mother’s Day, Saujani sharply criticized a newly launched federal website, “moms.gov,” along with broader messaging from the administration tied to motherhood and reproductive health.
