Ramaswamy surges in primary, Acton contest remains tight: Poll

The poll predicts a one percentage advantage in favor of Ramaswamy as both candidates fail to breach the 50 percent mark.

President Donald Trump-backed Vivek Ramaswamy is miles ahead of his competition in the upcoming Ohio mayoral Republican primary, but the real fight with Democratic favorite Amy Acton continues to be a close call, as per a poll prediction by InteractivePolls.

Ramaswamy, who will be taking on business owners Casey Putsch and Heather Hill in the upcoming May 5 Republican primary. InteractivePolls predict a one-sided competition, placing 76 percent of the votes in Ramaswamy’s kitty and equally dividing the remaining 24 between Putsch and Hill.
