Indian citizen in Texas indicted on federal tax evasion charge
If convicted, Anil Surabhi faces up to five years in federal prison.

An Indian citizen from Texas has been indicted on a federal tax charge in the Eastern District of Texas, a US Attorney said Aug. 22.
According to court filings, Anil Surabhi, 43, a permanent resident of the United States, was named in an indictment returned this week by a federal grand jury. Surabhi is accused of attempting to evade federal taxes.
