Indian American Congressman Ami Bera (D-CA) emphasized the increasing political engagement of the Indian diaspora and its role in shaping U.S.-India relations.
“You're seeing the diaspora become much more politically engaged,” Bera said speaking at the Motwani Jadeja US-India Dialogue Series hosted by the Hudson Institute on bipartisan cooperation in U.S. Indo-Pacific policy under the new administration.
