The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) will host a 5K Run/Walk for Education & Vision on May 30, 2026, at Depot Park along the Minuteman Community Bikeway in Bedford, Massachusetts.
The community event aims to bring together families, youth, and local residents in support of two nonprofit organizations—Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation and Vision-Aid—both of which focus on improving access to education and vision care for underserved communities.

Participants can choose to run or walk the 5K at their own pace, combining fitness with philanthropy. The first 100 registrants will receive a complimentary event T-shirt.
IAGB president Nilesh Agrawal shared that the 5K is “a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together in support of education and vision empowerment.” Vice president Deepak Garg added that the event “reflects IAGB’s commitment to service and collective wellbeing.”
IAGB director and 5K lead Vijayendra Bhargava noted that planning the event “has been inspiring, and we look forward to welcoming participants for a purposeful and enjoyable morning.”
IAGB has invited members of the broader community to take part in the event, which also seeks to promote wellness while supporting impactful causes.
One of the oldest and most active Indian American organizations in New England, IAGB is known for its work in community service, cultural programming, and civic engagement.
