Indian Ambassador Vinay Kwatra on Oct. 20 evening hailed the growing strength of India-US relations, calling the partnership “remarkably different” and “more dynamic than ever” as he joined business and government leaders at the U.S.-India Business Council’s (USIBC) Diwali celebration in Washington.

Speaking at an event held just across the street from the White House, Kwatra said the bilateral relationship has expanded across every major domain — trade, technology, capital flows, and people-to-people ties. “In the last ten years alone, the trajectory of ties, the substance of engagement, and the domains in which the two countries engaged have really grown,” he told the gathering.
