The Indian Consulate in San Francisco, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Americans, is celebrating diversity, equity and gender equality as part of its Women’s Day celebration on Mar. 8, 2026.
Titled 'Naari 2026', the celebration at the consulate office will serve as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women and acknowledge the courage, dedication and resilience of women leaders who strive relentlessly to achieve their goals.

The Consulate will also honor and recognize outstanding women leaders from diverse fields who have made impactful contributions to their professions, communities and society at large.
Consul General of India Dr. Srikar Reddy will lead the Naari 2026 celebration. Apart from Reddy, other key speakers at the event include Prathima Reddy, spouse of Srikar Reddy; Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis; retired U.S. Ambassador Shefali Razdan Duggal; Neeru Khosla, co-founder of CK-12 Foundation; Assemblymember Catherine Stefani; and Penny Coulter, chief of protocol for the City and County of San Francisco.
The celebration will serve as a networking opportunity for women leaders and collaborators and will feature cultural performances and an awards ceremony, along with dedicated networking slots earmarked in the day’s schedule.
