Indian fusion pizza chain Tandoori Pizza has announced the opening of three new locations across the Bay Area while preparing for its first out-of-state move.
The new outlets in Foster City, Pleasanton, and Pittsburg signal a strategic shift toward high-growth residential hubs, where diverse communities and younger consumers are increasingly shaping food trends.

Rather than focusing solely on urban centers, the brand is targeting neighborhoods where global flavors are gaining mainstream appeal, particularly among families and professionals seeking convenient but distinctive dining options.
“Our expansion is a direct reflection of our customers’ appetite for flavors that break the mold of traditional fast-casual dining,” said TJ Singh. “Foster City, Pleasanton, and Pittsburg are vital communities. We are honored to serve them and equally excited to introduce our unique concept to our future fans in Arizona very soon.”
Founded on the idea of blending Indian spices with the familiar format of pizza, Tandoori Pizza has built its identity around bold, layered flavors. Its menu features items such as tandoori chicken pizza with house marinades and garlic sauce, as well as vegetarian options like curry-based paneer pizzas, alongside fusion pastas and sides.
The company’s growth also reflects a broader shift in the fast-casual industry, where diners are increasingly seeking customizable, globally inspired menus. Tandoori Pizza’s digital-first ordering model and emphasis on fresh, premium ingredients are designed to meet those expectations.
With plans to expand into Arizona next, the brand is positioning itself for a wider national footprint, aiming to translate its Bay Area success into other markets where demand for Indian-inspired cuisine is on the rise.
