'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' premieres on Zee 5 Global
The film follows Jass as his life spirals into comic chaos when his estranged wife and new love interest both become pregnant.

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai / Zee 5 Global
Bollywood romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, premiered on Zee 5 Global on July 31.
Directed by David Dhawan, the film follows Jass, played by Varun Dhawan, whose plans for a fresh start in England are thrown into disarray when both his estranged wife, Bani, and his new love interest, Preet, become pregnant.
As he struggles to keep the two relationships from colliding, a series of misunderstandings and increasingly chaotic situations unfold in the trademark comedic style associated with director David Dhawan.

Produced by Ramesh Taurani under the Tips Films banner, the film also features Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Sheirgill, Chunky Panday, Mouni Roy, Ali Asgar, Rakesh Bedi and Rajesh Kumar in supporting roles.
Speaking about the digital release, David Dhawan said comedy has always been about helping audiences forget their worries and leave with a smile.
"Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is filled with misunderstandings, emotions, romance and madness, the ingredients I've loved exploring throughout my career. I'm happy that the film will now reach an even wider audience on Zee 5 Global, where families can enjoy it together from the comfort of their homes,” Dhawan said.
Producer Ramesh Taurani said the film reflects Tips Films' commitment to creating stories that resonate across generations, describing it as a family entertainer that captures the joy and energy of mainstream Bollywood cinema.

Varun Dhawan said Jass is among the most entertaining characters he has portrayed and noted that working with his father, David Dhawan, remains a special experience because of his understanding of comedy.
Mrunal Thakur said the film balances humor with themes of relationships, choices and moving forward, while Pooja Hegde described it as a complete family entertainer filled with laughter, romance and larger-than-life moments.
