IIT trained engineer Sunil Kumar appointed Quantiphi Global Head

Before joining Quantiphi, has held leadership positions at Cognizant, Genpact Headstrong, HCL, and Infosys.

Massachusetts based AI-first digital engineering company Quantiphi has appointed Indian-origin engineer Sunil Kumar as its Global Head – Healthcare and Life Sciences.

Kumar brings extensive leadership experience across healthcare payer strategy, digital transformation, AI-led modernization, client partnerships, and global delivery.

Before joining Quantiphi, Kumar spent eight years at Emids in senior leadership roles, including Managing Partner & BU Head – Healthcare Payer. He led large P&L portfolios and drove AI-led transformation and modernization for healthcare payers.

He has also held leadership positions at Cognizant, Genpact Headstrong, HCL, and Infosys, specializing in healthcare payer services and business development.

Talking about his new role, Kumar said on LinkedIn, “I am truly honored to join Quantiphi as Global Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences when the company is accelerating into its next phase of growth with renewed focus on Healthcare and Life Sciences.”

He added, “My professional journey of 25 years has been dedicated to healthcare, working across six different SI organizations and collaborating with 100+ industry leaders across more than 25 marquee organizations in the healthcare and life sciences industry.”

An Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, trained engineer, Kumar prioritises driving sustainable growth and operational excellence. His expertise includes account management, global delivery, and risk management in building high-performance teams and crafting client-focused strategies.

Announcing his appointment, Quantiphi said, “We’re delighted to welcome Sunil Kumar to the Quantiphi family as our Global Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS).”
