Ohio-based financial and retail tech company Diebold Nixdorf has appointed business executive Raj Singh as executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO).
Singh succeeds Teresa Ostapower, who is retiring after serving as the company's CIO since 2021. He will report directly to president and chief executive officer Octavio Marquez.

A technology executive with nearly three decades of experience, Singh brings expertise across the financial services, automotive and energy sectors. In his new role, he will oversee Diebold Nixdorf's global information technology operations and cybersecurity strategy while leading initiatives focused on artificial intelligence, cloud modernization, enterprise resource planning systems and process optimization.
Before joining Diebold Nixdorf, Singh served as vice president and CIO at Visteon Corporation, where he led enterprise AI strategy, IT transformation, cloud initiatives and cybersecurity programs. His previous leadership roles include positions at Ford Motor Company, DTE Energy, Horizon Global and Ally Financial.
CEO Marquez said Singh's experience in modernizing complex technology environments and delivering large-scale transformation programs will support the company's strategic priorities.
"Raj is a proven global technology leader with deep experience modernizing complex environments, strengthening cybersecurity and delivering large-scale transformation," Marquez said in a statement.
Marquez also thanked Ostapower for her contributions to the company, citing her role in strengthening its technology foundation and supporting teams worldwide during her tenure.
The appointment comes as organizations across industries continue investing in AI, cloud technologies and cybersecurity to enhance operations and support digital transformation efforts.
Diebold Nixdorf, a provider of banking and retail technology solutions, operates in more than 100 countries and employs approximately 20,000 people globally. The company works with financial institutions and retailers to connect digital and physical channels through integrated technology and services aimed at improving customer convenience, security and efficiency.
