Indian Americans more assertive, politically active: RSS scholar Dr. Ratan Sharda

Dr. Ratan Sharda, a longtime member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), said that Indian Americans today are more confident, socially active, and politically engaged than ever before.
Speaking during an interview, Dr. Sharda, who has been associated with the RSS since childhood and was active in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) during India's Emergency, reflected on the evolution of the Indian diaspora in the United States.
