Sunday Morning With US Army Colonel Kamal Kalsi

October 2023 695 views 23 mins 41 secs

US Army Colonel Dr. Kamal Singh Kalsi is the first Sikh American to sue the US Army for his Constitutional right to serve in the military with his turban and beard intact.

A medic who was deployed in Afghanistan, Kalsi eventually won his battle for religious accommodation. He paved the way for other service men and women to serve in the US military with their articles of faith intact.
