Political Halloween decorations pop up in Washington, D.C

October 2025 19 views 1MIN 28 SEC

Washington, D.C. :: October 28, 2025 :: Political Halloween decorations pop up in Washington, D.C. "I love how they're expressing their opinions in such a spooky and unique way." :: Christine Payne, RFK Jr.'s neighbor "My display is a bit controversial in a great many things. It's next to RFK Junior's house here. He's been a very good neighbor. It's very pleasant. We have no complaints. But I don't agree with his politics. So stance on shots is a little bit disconcerting. I would say." "We knew we wanted to do something spooky and it was our opportunity to send a little message because there's a lot of things going on right now. So once again, I think that this is an opportunity just to extend a little message. It's... it would just be, I think we all need to speak out with what's going on." "Love thy neighbor. Don't have to agree with his politics." In the Georgetown neighborhood, one home drew attention with a sign reading “Elect a clown, expect a circus,” surrounded by spooky clown figures poking Halloween fun at the Trump administration. Passersby stopped to take pictures of the display, part of a broader wave of politically themed decorations across the city.
