India Rejects USCIRF Report, Calls Assessment Biased India Abroad

March 2026 148 views 1:53

India has rejected the latest report by the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), calling it biased and misleading. The Ministry of External Affairs said the commission has repeatedly presented a distorted portrayal of India and relies on questionable sources. New Delhi also highlighted India’s diverse religious landscape and raised concerns over attacks on Hindu temples in the United States.
