अमेरिका में हर क्षेत्र में भारतीय मूल के लोगों का दबदबा बढ़ता जा रहा है। चाहे राजनीति की बात हो, तकनीक का क्षेत्र हो या स्पेस सेक्टर, भारतवंशियों ने हर क्षेत्र में झंडा गाढ़ा है। हाल ही में अमेरिका के नव निर्वाचित राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प ने एक या दो नहीं कई भारतीय अमेरिकियों को अपनी कैबिनेट में शामिल किया है। विवेक रामास्वामी, तुलसी गबार्ड, जय भट्टाचार्य हो या फिर हाल ही में ट्रम्प कैबिनेट में शामिल हुईं हरमीत ढिल्लों। उपराष्ट्रपति जेडी वेन्स की पत्नी ऊषा भी भारतीय मूल की हैं।
