अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने एक चौंकाने वाला फैसला लेते हुए स्मार्टफोन, लैपटॉप और अन्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स पर लगाए गए रेसिप्रोकल टैरिफ को हटा दिया है। यह बदलाव 5 अप्रैल से लागू हो गयाहै। इस फैसले से वैश्विक टेक जगत में राहत की लहर दौड़ गई है, खासकर उन कंपनियों के लिए जिनकी मैन्युफैक्चरिंग सप्लाई भारत और चीन से जुड़ी हुई हैं। जहां चीन को इससे तुरंत और बड़ा व्यापारिक लाभ होगा, वहीं भारत के लिए यह एक रणनीतिक अवसर है, मैन्युफैक्चरिंग में अपनी पकड़ मजबूत करने और अमेरिकी कंपनियों के लिए वैकल्पिक सप्लायर बनने का।
