Indian President flies Rafale fighter plane

Indian President Draupadi Murmu flew in a Rafale aircraft at the Air Force Station in Ambala, Haryana. She is the first President of India to fly in two fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force. Earlier, she flew in the Sukhoi 30 MKI in 2023. After this flight, the President wrote, "Flying on Rafale is an unforgettable experience for me. This maiden flight on the powerful Rafale aircraft has instilled in me a sense of pride in the nation's defense capabilities. I congratulate the entire team of the Indian Air Force and Air Force Station, Ambala for successfully conducting this flight".
