During a personal visit to Pakistan, Jasdeep Singh Jesse, chairman of Sikhs of America and a prominent U.S.–based Sikh community leader, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif along with his business partner Sajid Tarar.
Although the visit was not official in nature, the meeting provided an opportunity for an informal exchange of views on issues related to the Sikh community’s historical ties to Pakistan and the significance of Sikh heritage sites located in the country.
