After topping the state’s class 10 state-wide examinations, Gujrat native Om Dobariya was puzzled about what lies ahead for him. The academic regulations in place required him to choose a stream, he had to choose whether STEM was his calling or whether he was more inclined to venture other paths.
Dobariya, who was interested in an interdisciplinary approach to academics, chose to part ways with STEM at that point, only to be reunited a few years later while pursuing a Business Analytics and Information Systems major with a minor in Information Sciences and Technology at Penn.
