Indian mixed martial arts (MMA) star Sangram Singh is set to make history as the first Indian MMA fighter to compete in Argentina, headlining the upcoming Samurai Fight House 28 (SFH 28) event on April 5 in Tigre, Buenos Aires.
After competing all across Europe, including in Georgia and Amsterdam, the former professional wrestler turned MMA athlete will now prepare for the challenge in Argentina, which will mark to be the biggest overseas stage of his career yet.

Singh will face French contender Matteo Monteiro in what is anticipated to be one of the high‑stakes matches of SFH 28.
In preparation for SFH 28, Singh has been training intensively with coach Bhupesh Kumar and his team, focusing on transitions, ground control, striking combinations, and fight‑specific conditioning to meet the physical demands of the upcoming competition.
Singh’s historic appearance in Argentina will mark a significant milestone for Indian combat sports and underscores his growing global presence in mixed martial arts.
