This year, Indian origin filmmaker and physician Rohan Sethi will be honored with the Queer Voice Award for his feature A Nice Indian Boy, which was released earlier in 2025 to critical acclaim. The award was introduced last year by television creator Justin Noble.
Festival director Quentin Lee said the event continues to give a platform to alumni filmmakers. “Now in its sixth year, Yale in Hollywood Fest—entirely volunteer-run—continues to support Yale alumni filmmakers and showcase their work to the world,” Lee told the festival website.
