Framing Beijing as the common challenge, Rep. John Moolenaar, who leads the House Select Committee on China, met Sept. 18 with India’s ambassador to the United States, Vinay Kwatra, for talks on supply chains, defence ties, and the Indo-Pacific balance of power.

The meeting came as both countries are looking for ways to reduce dependence on China and blunt its growing influence in the region.
