Winners will be announced at an awards gala in New York City on Nov. 10, 2025. Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in other categories were announced in September.
The SheShapesAI Awards mark Persistent’s first collaboration with the Stevie Awards, introducing five new categories aimed at recognizing women leaders transforming AI adoption and application across industries. Finalists were determined by the average scores of more than 190 professionals serving on six international juries.
Madhu Kochar, based in San Jose, was shortlisted in the “AI Transformation Game Changer of the Year” category for her leadership at IBM. Aravinda Gollapudi, who heads the Platform Business Unit at Sage and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, was also named in the same category.
Vishlesha Patil, Chief Product Officer at Early Warning Services, and Gurpreet Kaur, CIO for Global Supply Chain at GE Healthcare, are finalists for “Cloud and Data Visionary of the Year.” Patil is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, while Kaur represents GE Healthcare’s global operations.
Tanuja Korlepra, Chief Technology Officer at Bonterra, was recognized under the “AI Vanguard and Leadership Award,” and Kiran Kaur, CIO for Platforms, Wealth & Investment Management at Wells Fargo in New York, was selected for the “Software Engineering Trailblazer Award.”
Shimona Chadha, Chief Marketing Officer at Persistent, said the awards underscore the importance of diversity in technological innovation. “At Persistent, we believe innovation thrives when diverse voices lead with courage and conviction. Honoring these women is our way of celebrating the brilliance, resilience, and leadership that continue to shape the future of business and technology,” she said.
Maggie Miller, President of the Stevie Awards, commended the finalists for their impact on the global AI ecosystem. “Congratulations to the outstanding 2025 Persistent’s SheShapesAI Awards finalists. These visionary women are shaping the future of AI and setting an inspiring example for innovators everywhere,” Miller said.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business have been recognizing female entrepreneurs and executives since 2002, and this year’s collaboration with Persistent extends that mission into the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.
