Leaders honor former NIH chief Zerhouni for science impact

Boston, April 30: Leading biopharma executives and scientists on Thursday honoured Dr. Elias Zerhouni for his role in shaping modern biomedical research and global health.

Zerhouni, Vice Chairman of OPKO Health and former director of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, received the Distinguished Service Award at a ceremony attended by senior industry leaders.

Speakers described his influence across academia, government and industry.
