The program will begin with interfaith prayers and reflections, followed by an eclectic mix of performances from across musical traditions. Informational booths and interactive tables will provide Know Your Rights resources and highlight the work of local partner organizations.
Two panel discussions will bring together community leaders and activists to explore the connections between faith, storytelling, and liberation, emphasizing the importance of interfaith solidarity in times of rising hate and division.
The celebration concluded with the lighting of diyas, symbolizing Diwali’s triumph of good over evil and the Bandi Chhor Divas message of freedom and release.
