There are no current plans for US President Donald Trump to visit Pakistan, the White House said July 17, dismissing media reports in this regard coming from Pakistan.
“No current plans for POTUS (president of the United States) to visit Pakistan,” a White House official said when asked about media reports coming from Pakistan that Trump is all set to visit this South Asian country in September.
George Bush was the last US president to visit Pakistan in 2006.
Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir had a luncheon with the US President at the White House last month. He has nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
