Dr. Akashleena Mallick, a physician-researcher originally from Kolkata, India, will deliver the graduate student address at Brown University’s Master’s Ceremony during its 257th Commencement on May 24.
Mallick, who is graduating from the School of Public Health’s Accelerated MPH for Clinicians program, was selected by the university’s Graduate Student Council to speak at the ceremony, part of Brown’s Commencement and Reunion Weekend. Her speech will encourage graduates to meet uncertainty with curiosity, courage, and compassion.
