Indian tourism gets boost at NY Travel & Adventure Show

The Indian Consulate hosted the India Pavilion, offering visitors a vibrant window into India’s tourism and cultural landscape.

The Indian Consulate in New York participated in The Travel & Adventure Show held in New York on Jan. 24 and 25, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

The Travel & Adventure Show is a major consumer travel expo and one of the largest series of travel shows in the United States. It brings together thousands of exhibitors, including international tourism boards, destinations, tour operators, airlines, hotels, and travel brands, under one roof.

The Indian Consulate, in partnership with Air India, Veena World and Sky Bird Vacations, among many others, hosted the India Pavilion, offering visitors a vibrant window into India’s tourism and cultural landscape and clocking in over 10,000 visitors.

Consul General Binaya Srikanta Pradhan inaugurated the India Pavilion. It also showcased India's One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, spotlighting an array of stunning handicrafts, vibrant textiles, and unique regional delicacies that capture the essence of India's diverse heritage.

Attended by over 550 top destinations, tour companies, cruise lines and travel providers from around the world, The Travel & Adventure Show gave attendees the opportunity to meet top travel celebrities and granted access to over thousands of dollars in travel savings, trip giveaways and exclusive show-only deals.
