The Consulate General of India in Atlanta gathered business and technology leaders to discuss responsible and ethical deployment of artificial intelligence.
The Tech Thursday event was hosted in collaboration with the Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and Atlanta Technology Professionals.

It featured a panel discussion on building trust in AI systems and strengthening ethical frameworks around the technology.
Participants also reviewed developments emerging from India AI Summit 2026, with particular attention to India’s “MANAV” approach, a human-centric AI governance framework that emphasizes ethics, accountability, accessibility and inclusive deployment.
The discussion comes amid a broader push by Indian institutions and policymakers to frame AI development around ethics, accountability, inclusion and public trust.

The Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce describes its role as promoting and fostering trade, business, financial and professional relations between India and the United States, particularly in Georgia.
The chamber works to advance direct commercial ties, support networking among business professionals, and facilitate educational, cultural and trade-related engagement on a non-political and non-partisan basis.
A non-profit organization formed to support the growing Indian business community in the state, the chamber also serves as a platform for trade engagement, investment opportunities and business partnerships.
It regularly brings together business leaders, policymakers and professionals through networking forums, trade-related events and community initiatives aimed at expanding India-U.S. commercial relations.
Atlanta Technology Professionals, a non-profit industry network founded in 1999, brings together IT professionals in the region to connect, share knowledge and support community initiatives.
