How Jeena Raghavan painted her way global

The New York–based artist’s work now spans elite galleries, corporate spaces, and Stanford University.

Jeena Raghavan’s paintings today hang in Manhattan galleries and Bengaluru’s corporate offices, but her journey began with sketches on restaurant napkins as a child in London.

Her talent was recognized early. At 13, a family friend and art collector promised her father he would organize an exhibition if she continued practicing. “He saw a sense of movement in my work that stayed with me,” Raghavan recalled.
