Hoboken Mayor Bhalla seeks to award $1MN for upliftment projects

Hoboken Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla on July 4 announced the allocation of over $1 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to support a range of local nonprofit organizations and Hoboken Housing Authority(HHA) for improving critical infrastructure facilities in the city.

Bhalla plans to allocate approximately $685,000, to the Hoboken Housing Authority for two specific projects, namely, the replacement of aging boilers and to enhance security infrastructure across HHA’s buildings for senior and disabled residents including Fox Hill Gardens, Monroe Gardens, and Adams Gardens.
