Hindu temples in US and Canada advised to heighten security amid rising threats

In its advisory, HMEC asked the temples to install security cameras at entrances, exits, and around the premises, monitor entry points, consider ID badges for volunteers and staff

In the backdrop of the increase in attacks on temples in US and Canada in recent past mainly from Pakistan-supported Khalistani elements, Hindu temples in the two countries have been advised to be on high alert and enhance their security measures in the wake of the heightened-tension between India and Pakistan.
