Minutes after the first New York City mayoral general election debate concluded, netizens took over social media to share their opinions on the three leading candidates’ performances, many deeming Zohran Mamdani as the debate winner.
The first mayoral debate, featuring Andrew Cuomo (I), Zohran Mamdani (D), and Curtis Sliwa (R), was broadcast live on Thursday night and focused on the city’s affordability crisis, Trump’s National Guard politics, local education policies, and Israel-Gaza peace deal.
