The University of Leeds opened applications for its three-year BSc Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) program for Indian students, with admissions beginning for the September 2026 intake.
According to the university, the undergraduate program is designed to provide students with core computer science training alongside specialized instruction in artificial intelligence.

The curriculum covers foundational areas such as algorithms, data structures and computer systems, while also introducing advanced topics including machine learning, deep learning and text analytics.
The course includes options for work placements and study abroad, aimed at offering students exposure to real-world applications of computing and artificial intelligence across sectors such as healthcare, finance, digital media and smart infrastructure. Teaching is delivered by faculty engaged in research areas including algorithms, distributed systems and artificial intelligence.
Entry requirements for Indian applicants vary by education board. Students applying from CBSE, CISCE or the West Bengal Board are required to have an overall average of 75 percent, with 80 percent in two relevant subjects including mathematics.
Applicants from state boards must have an overall average of 80 percent and 85 percent in
two relevant subjects, including mathematics.English language requirements include 70–75 percent in Standard XII English, depending on the state board, or an IELTS score of 6.5 overall.
Annual tuition fees are listed at £32,750 (approximately Rs 34.15 lakh). The University of Leeds said Indian students are eligible for an automatic £5,000 fee reduction scholarship, along with the International Excellence Scholarship, under which up to 500 awards offering fee reductions of up to 50 percent are available.
The program begins in September 2026 and is offered as a three-year full-time degree, with an optional industrial placement year after the second year, extending the course to four years.
Applications must be submitted through UCAS, with the final deadline set for 30 June 2026. The university noted that applications should arrive by 18:00 UK local time on January 14, 2026, for equal consideration.
Graduates of the program may pursue careers across sectors,sectors including technology, finance and fintech, gaming, media, education, government agencies, non-governmental organisations, retail, consultancies, and research and development, the university said.
