212NYC, New York’s Digital Advertising Club, has elected five new members to its board of directors, including two executives of Indian origin, namely, Surabhi Pokhriyal and Sonika Patel.

The volunteer board oversees the nonprofit’s efforts to support advertisers and brands navigating shifts in digital media and marketing.

Pokhriyal, executive vice president and chief digital growth officer at Church & Dwight, brings experience in driving digital transformation and growth strategy for major consumer brands.

Patel, chief marketing officer at P.F. Chang’s, adds senior brand and marketing leadership focused on customer engagement and omnichannel strategy. Their appointments come as 212NYC prepares for an expanded slate of industry programming in 2026.

The newly elected board members also include Maureen Willette, strategic partner manager for global industry relations at Google; Lisa DiBenedetto, media and brand architect and executive board secretary at 212NYC; and Diana Horowitz, media consultant and marketing committee chair at the organization.

“We're proud to welcome this remarkable and diverse group of industry leaders to the 212NYC Board of Directors,” said Jay Wolff, president of 212NYC. “Their vast expertise across all facets of the advertising ecosystem will help drive our volunteer organization—and the industry—into the future.”

Ritu Trivedi, vice president of 212NYC, said the selections were deliberate. “We were intentional in electing new board members with diverse experiences that represent all sides of our industry,” she said, pointing to the organization’s focus on thought-leadership topics such as the creator economy, artificial intelligence in advertising, and measurement standards.

The board election follows a year of activity for 212NYC, including its 11th annual gala in October themed “Resilience Through Reinvention” and the launch of a redesigned, video-focused website featuring a new content hub, 212NYC Connects.
