US President Donald Trump publicly withdrew his endorsement of Republican lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene on Nov. 14, a day after the two diverged on their stance on the H-1B visa program.
Greene, who used to be one of Trump's most outspoken allies, announced a bill proposing to end the H1B Visa program, within days of Trump saying in an interview with FOX News that the United States needs "talented people" from abroad to take on specialized roles that require advanced skills.
Diverging from the President's new-found softer stance on H-1B visas, Greene said in a video message she posted on X, "I'm introducing a bill to completely eliminate the H-1B visa program, which has been riddled with fraud and abuse and has been displacing American workers for decades."

Trump made the announcement through a Truth Social post and said, "I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia."
Trump went on to list his achievements since assuming office, a list featuring "stopping 8 wars" and a "Complete Victory on the Shutdown", and remarked that Rep. Greene failed to acknowledge these achievements. Trump said, "all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!"
The President also revealed the exact point from which their relationship started turning sour. He alleged that issues between the two started when Trump had messaged Greene that she should not contest elections for the senate or Governor's office, citing data predicting her low chances of success.
Trump added that Greene was also upset because Trump did not answer her repeated calls. He went on to highlight his busy schedule and remarked, " I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day."
Trump ended the post by saying that he will support the candidate only if the right person runs instead of Rep. Greene.
Greene, who has largely stayed away from criticizing Trump directly, responded by posting on X that Trump "just attacked me and lied about me."
Greene also accused Trump of trying to intimidate other Republicans ahead of a vote next week on releasing the Epstein files, calling it “astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.”
On Nov. 12, Greene was one of only four House Republicans who joined Democrats in signing a petition to force a vote on releasing the full Department of Justice files related to Epstein
