NAVEX appoints Raj Sethuraman as chief product and technology officer

He will lead product strategy, engineering and AI advancement across the NAVEX One platform.

Oregon-based Software company NAVEX appointed Indian American executive Raj Sethuraman as its chief product and technology officer.

In the role, Sethuraman will oversee the company’s product strategy, engineering, platform innovation and technology operations. He will also lead efforts to accelerate product delivery and expand artificial intelligence capabilities across the NAVEX One platform.

The company said the appointment comes as it continues to invest in integrated risk and compliance technology for organizations managing ethics, governance and regulatory requirements.

“Raj brings an exceptional track record of leading and scaling high-performing global product and engineering organizations in complex, regulated SaaS environments,” NAVEX chief executive officer Andrew Bates said in a statement.

“His proven ability to inspire cross-functional teams, foster a culture of innovation, and deliver large-scale platform modernization makes him an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” Bates added.

Before joining NAVEX, Sethuraman served as president and chief product and technology officer at Finvi, where he led the company’s product and engineering strategy and platform transformation. He previously held senior product and technology roles at Intuit, Entertainment Partners, Wolters Kluwer and Agilent Technologies.

Sethuraman also served as an executive advisor at New Mountain Capital from January 2023 to March 2026 and has been a member of the Forbes Technology Council since 2018.

At Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions, he served as chief technology officer and led a global technology organization spanning North America, Europe and Asia. At Entertainment Partners, he served as senior vice president of technology, overseeing the development of production and payroll technology systems.

“The risk and compliance landscape is undergoing significant transformation as organizations increasingly recognize risk and compliance management as strategic business imperatives,” he said.

NAVEX said Sethuraman’s appointment reflects its focus on expanding scalable technology offerings and strengthening AI-driven capabilities for customers worldwide.

Sethuraman holds a master's in business administration from the USC Marshall School of Business, completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, earned a master's of technology degree from the University of Mysore, and earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Annamalai University.
