Kerala born Anas Kadiyarakam has been named the winner in the 'Outstanding Workforce' category of the Emirates Labour Market Awards, one of the most prestigious awards offered by the United Arab Emirates in recogntion of its employees. The awards are hosted under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the deputy Prime Minister and Vice President of UAE.
An HR professional at LLH Hospital under Burjeel Holding, Kadiyarakam won in ‘Management and Executives’ branch of the skilled workers subcategory and was felicitated by Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the royal family and son of UAE's president.

Kadiyarakam holds a bachelors degree in Commerce from the University of Calicut and a Masters' degree in Business administration from Anna University. He has also completed courses from the University of Michigan, Amity University and the American Certification Institute.
Having previously worked with WIPRO, he joined Burjeel Holdings 16 years ago as a Human Resource executive and gradually rose through the ranks. Currently working as the Regional Manager of Human Resources, Kadiyarakam now manages large-scale HR operations and people strategies.
The honor comes with a host of rewards, including a trophy, Dh100,000 (approximately USD 27,000), a gold coin, an Apple Watch and a Faza Platinum Card.
“It felt like the country was telling me that they have seen my growth. The UAE’s private sector is the most dynamic place to learn, especially in healthcare. Every day brings a new challenge and a new opportunity to help the workforce,” Anas told Gulf News.
