Indian origin Arvid Lindblad has made his way into the Red Bull 2026 line-up. Announced on Dec. 2, this will mark the 18-year0-old British-Swedish-Indian whiz kid's F1 debut.
Arvid Lindblad, who describes his name sounding like 'Arvind', an Indian name, to be a happy accident, is a British citizen with Indian roots. His mother, Anita Ahuja, was born in England to Indian parents.
Lindblad's rise has been meteoric. He went from Kartung circles to being the only rookie on this year's grid, in a matter of years. He moved from Karting to being a Red Bull Junior Team Driver in 2021 and Italian Formula 4 Championship in 2022.

Arvid Lindblad kicked off his racing journey in karts in 2015 and swiftly dominated junior ranks, clinching the WSK Super Master Series OKJ title and later sweeping the WSK Euro Series and WSK Final Cup in the senior OK class before graduating to single-seaters.
Lindblad stepped up to Italian F4 in 2022, then joined PREMA Racing for a full assault in 2023, finishing third in the championship and fourth in the inaugural Euro 4 series. He capped the year with a commanding victory at the prestigious Macau F4 World Cup.
After a single, standout season in FIA Formula 3, finishing fourth overall with four wins, Arvid Lindblad graduated to FIA Formula 2 in 2025 with Campos Racing.
Arvid Lindblad, currently sixth in the FIA F2 standings with Campos Racing, will join Liam Lawson at Racing Bulls, Red Bull Austrian energy-drink-backed F1 outfit, with car number 41 assigned to him.
