Indian businessman and philanthropist RL Kabra passes away
Diaspora community leader Arun Mundra recalled Kabra as a philanthropist who placed the needs of the many before his own.

Indian businessman and philanthropist RL Kabra has passed away on Nov. 4.
Kabra, a Chartered Accountant by training, was the founder-chairman of R Kabra & Co. LLP, a prominent name in taxation, compliance, and advisory services.
On the third day after his demise, 'Tiye ki baithak' was organized at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in Mumbai. Apart from family and friends, the religious and cultural remembrance ceremony was attended by industry and community leaders including Shyam Soni, Arun Bhangadiya, Arun Mundra, Pankaj Bhargava, Afzal, BrijMohan Mundra, BM Rathi, Parag Shah, Arvind Maheshwari, BM Rathi, Sancheti and Manish Bhansali.
Diaspora community leader Arun Mundra fondly remembered Kabra's philanthropic efforts and aid offered to the victims of Uttarakhand floods in 2013.
Mundra also recalled Kabra as a man with "exceptional personal qualities". He went on to describe the demised businessman as a man with an "ever-smiling face, even in the most difficult physical or mental situations."
Mundra added, "His calm composure, and his ability to simplify the most complex challenges with clarity and wisdom often left others amazed."
Beyond his profession, Kabra devoted time and resources to charitable causes and played a key role in creating structured social platforms that enabled the wider community to contribute meaningfully. His life remains a shining example of humility, ethics, compassion, and unshakable positivity, a legacy that will continue to inspire generations.
