I will focus on fixing broken financial system, says New York comptroller candidate Raj Goyle

Goyle said it is a pivotal moment to be in public service and to outline what New Yorkers need from the office.

Raj Goyle’s political career has spanned state and national races. From 2007 to 2011, he served as one of the youngest elected representatives in the Kansas House and later became the 2010 Democratic nominee for Kansas’ 4th Congressional District. He is now running as a Democratic candidate for New York state comptroller.

“It’s challenging, exciting, exhausting and nerve-wracking all at once,” Goyle said in an interview. “I’m certainly wiser and my hair is a little thinner than when I first ran, though I’m actually in better physical shape than I was 20 years ago.”
