Punjab-based entertainment network GTC Media Communications’ USA  arm has entered into a partnership with 4G Media USA to expand Punjabi programming across the United States

The agreement establishes a nationwide content creation and distribution network that will combine GTC’s programming library from India with 4G Media’s U.S.-based production capabilities.

Under the partnership, 4G Media USA receives exclusive rights to operate, broadcast, and distribute GTC Network content in the United States. Seventy percent of the programming slate will come from India, while up to thirty percent will consist of original U.S.-produced content designed for Punjabi, South Asian, and multicultural audiences.

Rabindra Narayan, founder of GTC Media Communications USA, said, "The Punjabi community in America is one of the most dynamic diasporas in the world. This collaboration creates a platform that connects India’s creative strength with the lived experiences of Punjabi-Americans."

“To support the expansion, new GTC–4G Media production hubs are being set up in California’s Central Valley and New York City,” Narayan shared in a LinkedIn post.

These studios will develop fiction and non-fiction series, short films, news programming, and digital-first formats.

Several U.S.-originated projects are already underway, including 'Dil Diyaan Gallan–USA Edition,' 'The American Doabiyaan Project,' 'Punjabi Spotlight,' 'America Di Awaz,' and a group of short films slated for a 2026 release.

The partnership also outlines a calendar of U.S.-based events, including musical evenings, award shows, film showcases, community talent programs, and annual conclaves aimed at strengthening engagement with diaspora audiences.

Jay Gill, director of 4G Media USA, said the collaboration responds to audience demand. "There is strong demand for Punjabi programming in the US. With this partnership, we will deliver content that is relevant, locally rooted, and designed for today’s audiences," he said.

As part of the rollout, the partnership has appointed Kumar Sanjeev as chief coordinator. He brings more than two decades of experience in journalism, content development, and revenue strategy.

Key elements of the agreement include exclusive content and brand rights for the U.S. market, access to India-based programming, new production infrastructure, expanded live-event initiatives, and the creation of a unified India–U.S. Punjabi media bridge aimed at supporting long-term audience growth.
