Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has now officially joined Indian-origin founder Aravind Srinivas’ AI company, Perplexity, as an investor.
Srinivas took to his official Instagram account to make the announcement, along with pictures with Ronaldo, mentioning that they “will work together to make Perplexity the best AI for asking questions.”
Along with adding one of the greatest names in football to its investors, Srinivas' platform will now also include a custom AI assistant, Ronaldo hub.
Ronaldo hub will allow fans to view his career highlights, previously unseen pictures from his personal archive, and iconic goals while browsing through curated questions and behind-the-scenes stories.
Curiosity is a requirement for greatness. You win when you keep asking new questions every day. That’s why I am proud to announce my investment in Perplexity.

Ronaldo also shared the news with his massive fan following on social media, where he mentioned he and Srinivas together ‘will inspire everyone to ask more ambitious questions.’
This unexpected collaboration has taken the internet by storm and is now the talk of the town, with Ronaldo’s over 650 million combined social media followers across the world being both surprised and excited about this new venture.
To further promote the collaboration, Perplexity also released a YouTube video featuring two young Ronaldo fans discussing his achievements.
Ronaldo’s influence across nations is a great boost for Perplexity as it will add to the platform’s growth and publicity in places like Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia, where AI adoption is still evolving.
