CEO flags U.S. immigration as key hurdle for founders

Indian co-founder and CEO of a stealth biotech startup said immigration remains a central challenge for immigrant founders building companies in the United States, arguing that visa status can take priority over product development and fundraising.

“Immigrant founders trying to build in America: US immigration is your number one priority. Not the product. Not the pitch deck. Immigration,” Nimi Vashi who secured a second O-1 visa wrote on X.
