Texas director says Hindu parenting must adapt in diaspora

An Indian American filmmaker and entrepreneur Trivikram Gajulapalli said Hindu parents in the United States must prepare children to “be ambassadors who can articulate the beauty and depth of Hindu philosophy and culture to the world,” framing parenting as both cultural transmission and public engagement.
Gajulapalli, founder of creative production house Veenaa Vedika and a U.S.-based filmmaker and IT consultant, made the remarks during an appearance on the ‘Hindu Parenting’ podcast. Gajulapalli, who lives in the United States and is known for his cross-cultural storytelling, spoke about parenting, identity and his latest English-language film ‘Chiquita,’ a drama centered on a Texas biker’s encounter with the divine feminine.
