Seva Dance to bring Bollywood beats to Kansas City
The annual ‘INfusion’ event by Seva Dance combines performance and community service, raising funds for children’s charities across the Kansas City area.

Seva Dance will host 'INfusion 2025' at the Kansas City Music Hall on Nov. 8, continuing its annual tradition of using Bollywood-inspired dance to support local children’s causes.
All proceeds this year will go to the Fox 4 Love Fund for Children, which supports programs for local youth.
“Dance is our language, but service is our purpose,” said co-founder Megha Chandramohan. “INfusion proves that when art and compassion come together, we can truly make an impact.”

The performance features a mix of classical, contemporary, and Bollywood dance styles, accompanied by short videos about the charities supported.

We’re learning how to make a difference,” said youth president Nala Chandramohan.
The audience typically reflects Kansas City’s diverse community, with people attending from various backgrounds.
“Our show reminds us that even in difficult times, we can come together to create beauty, joy, and compassion,” said co-founder Ami Sanjanwala. “INfusion builds bridges—not just between cultures, but between hearts.”
Months of preparation go into each show, with students, parents, and volunteers handling choreography, costume design, and logistics, organizers said.
Founded by Chandramohan and Sanjanwala, Seva Dance began as a small community recital and has grown into a large-scale production featuring more than 200 dancers and an audience of over 3,000.
Seva Dance has contributed more than $150,000 to Kansas City nonprofits over the past three years. Previous beneficiaries include Zero Reasons Why, Variety KC, and Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer.
