McKinney Diwali Mela / Sewa International – Dallas
The Diwali Mela – Festival of Lights, held on Oct. 18 in McKinney, a suburb of Dallas, brought together more than 10,000 people in a grand celebration of Indian culture and community spirit.
Organized by Mystic Mandala, the event transformed the venue into a lively spectacle of lights, music, and festive energy.

Diwali Mela / Sewa International- Dallas
Two stages hosted continuous live performances ranging from classical Bharatanatyam to energetic Bollywood dance numbers and a popular Ram Leela dramatization.
Glimpse of the event / Sewa International- DallasParticipants from across age groups — including young children and senior performers — took part in the cultural programs, while families enjoyed carnival rides, games, and dance school showcases under the cool autumn evening.
Live performances / Sewa International- DallasA key moment of the evening was the recognition of Indian American community leader Gitesh Desai, honored for his outstanding service to the community. The award was presented by Vijay Warman, founder of the Dallas Festival of Lights.
